Subject Property Located at 2334 Shelby Street



Description Have the staff to look into those concerns of a resident who lives

on

Shelby Street, who has expressed concerns about the property located at 2334

Shebly Street that was destroyed by fire approximately 17 - 18 months ago; and

provide a response and determine when will these repairs be completed and the

property restored. (Request of Councilor Hunter)

Response The owner of this house has purchased the appropriate permits to

repair fire damage and has made some progress. Staff made an inspection

Tuesday and they are almost ready for rough inspections. The owner has been

contacted and asked to put crews at the site daily and work through to

completion. He has assured us that it will do done. Staff will make periodic

inspections at this location to insure that progress continues.
