A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND ACCEPTING A THREE (3) YEAR EXTENSION OF

THE CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF COLUMBUS AND THE PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL CLUB,

L.L.C. (COLUMBUS WARDOGS).



WHEREAS, Arena League Football 2, Inc., ownership group (Columbus Professional

Football Club, L.L.C.) has completed the final year of a three (3) year

agreement and wishes to exercise the option to extend the agreement for an

additional three(3) years; and,



WHEREAS, Columbus Professional Football Club, L.L.C. will play a

minimum of eight home games per season at the Columbus Civic Center; and,



WHEREAS, the Columbus Professional Football Club, L.L.C. has agreed to

pay a fixed monthly rate for the use of the space and facilities in addition to

other fees; and,



WHEREAS, the term of the lease agreement will be three (3) years.



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS

FOLLOWS:



That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a three year

lease agreement with the Columbus Professional Football Club, L.L.C. for the

use of the Civic Center during their season.



Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia

held the ____day of _________________, 2003, and adopted at said meeting by the

affirmative vote of ______members of said Council.
