WHEREAS, Nigel Williams of Columbus recently served as a Congressional Page for

Congressman Sanford Bishop;



WHEREAS, Nigel is a senior at Carver High School where he plays on the

football team, track team, basketball team, and is a member of the National

Honor Society, Beta Club and National Technical Honor Society;



WHEREAS, he plans to pursue a degree in marketing at either the University of

Georgia or Morehouse College;



WHEREAS, Nigel?s accomplishments are worthy of special recognition by this

Council.



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



We commend and congratulate Nigel Williams upon his service as a Congressional

Page for Congressman Sanford Bishop and we wish him every success in his future

studies. Let a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Nigel Williams.
