AN ORDINANCE REGULATING VEHICULAR TRAFFIC IN COLUMBUS, GEORGIA BY DELETING FROM
THE ?OFFICIAL STREET MAP, CITY OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA? THE STREET SEGMENT AND
RIGHT-OF-WAY OF GREEN ISLAND DRIVE BEGINNING AT THE NEWLY CONSTRUCTED
CUL-DE-SAC AT GAINES CREEK ROAD NORTHEASTERLY TO THE WEST RIGHT-OF-WAY OF RIVER
ROAD.

THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I.
The ?Official Street Map, City of Columbus, Georgia? is hereby amended by
deleting the following street segment and right-of-way:
Green Island Drive: Beginning at the newly constructed cul-de-sac at Gaines
Creek Road northeasterly to the west eight-of-way of River Road.
SECTION II.
The street segment and right-of-way described in Section I is herby declared
surplus property for disposal in accordance with the Columbus Code and no
longer needed for roadway purposes.
SECTION III.
Providing that all existing utility easements of record remain in effect and
providing appropriate width as required by applicable utility companies shall
be reserved for unknown utilities.
SECTION IV.
All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are
hereby repealed.
