The terms of office of Mr. Stephen T. Butler, Ms. Deborah Lane, Mr.

Fernando Verdree and Mr. James D. Yancey will expire on May 1, 2002. Ms. Lane,

Mr. Verdree and Mr. Yancey are eligible to succeed themselves for another five

year term.



Mr. Butler cannot succeed himself, as he would have served more than two

consecutive full terms of office when his current term expires.

Including Mr. Butler, Ms. Lane and Mr. Yancey there are five board members

who resides in Senatorial District 16. There are two board members who resides

in Senatorial District 15, and currently there is one woman serving on this

board.



Enclosed is a copy of our data sheet, as well as a list of the current

members.

Charge/Mission

This board issues bonds to finance private industrial and business projects for

special applications that cannot be financed by the Development Authority of

Columbus. It has seven (7) members, all of which are appointed by the Columbus

Council. (Ga. Laws 1965, Page 702, Ga. Laws 1967, Page 947 and Columbus

Charter, Sec. 4-623)
