A RESOLUTION

No.



WHEREAS, Resolution Nos. 9-65, 138-71 and 42-95 created a Civil Defense

Advisory Board and subsequently, an Emergency Management Advisory Board;



WHEREAS, with the advent of the Homeland Security Task Force, this Council

deems it appropriate to rescind these resolutions and abolish the Emergency

Management Advisory Board.



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



We hereby rescind Resolution Nos. 9-65, 138-71 and 42-95 and hereby abolish the

Emergency Management Advisory Board.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia held on the

1st day of April, 2003, and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote of
