WHEREAS, Fort Benning Masonic Lodge No. 579 has served Columbus,

Georgia and its public safety departments diligently and faithfully during the

recent protests near Fort Benning;



WHEREAS, this service is worthy of special recognition by this Council.





NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



This Council hereby expresses its appreciation for the diligent,

faithful, and meritorious civic service of



Fort Benning Masonic Lodge No. 579



which has served Columbus, Georgia and its public safety departments during

the recent protests at Fort Benning. Let a copy of this Resolution be forwarded

to Mike Brogden as an expression of appreciation of the citizens of Columbus,

Georgia for their service.
