Subject Gallops Center - AC system



Description Please have staff to look into moving the A/C from the roof of the

Gallops Center to the ground and submit an evaluation before the roof repairs

Response Facilities maintenance looked into the possibility of removing the

system from the roof and reinstalling it on the ground, with results being

negative for the following reasons:



1. To install the AC system on the ground would require a suitable location,

which would consists of removing a section of hill in front of the building,

and installing a retainer wall; and,



2. Utilities such as gas and power would have to be rerouted.
