A RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Columbus High School junior Charlie McDaniel recently won the Region

2-AAAA golf tournament held at Bull Creek Golf Course on April 28, 2004;



WHEREAS, he shot a round of 73 to win the Region tournament;



WHEREAS, the Blue Devils went on to compete in the Class AAAA State Golf

Tournament where they placed seventh with a score of 309;



WHEREAS, Charlie's accomplishment as Region Medalist is worthy of special

recognition by this Council.



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



We commend and congratulate Charlie McDaniel upon his recent victory in Region

2-AAAA golf tournament held at Bull Creek Golf Course. Columbus is proud of

his accomplishment and we wish him every success in the future. Let a copy of

this resolution be forwarded to Charlie McDaniel.
