A RESOLUTION



NO.



WHEREAS, Savannah, Georgia recently hosted the 2004 Group of Eight (G-8)

Summit, attended by the leaders of the eight largest industrialized democracies

in the world;



WHEREAS, Columbus, Georgia's Public Safety personnel there were no deaths or

serious injuries, no individuals were taken to area hospitals, and only 18

individuals were arrested;



WHEREAS,



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



We hereby commend



from February 18-21, 2003. Let a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the

above-named participants.
