The Columbus, Georgia, Board of Tax Assessors met Wednesday, June 19, 2002 ,

at 2:00PM with Chairman Beatrice Breaux, Assessors Lawton Grantham, Richard

Stallings, Ann Grantham and William Braxton present. Also present was Chief

Appraiser Martin J. Land



Assessor Richard Stallings made a motion to approve Minutes # 23-02; Assessor

Ann Grantham second it, motion carried unanimously.



The Board reviewed the request for non-taxability for the Georgia Council for

the Hearing Impaired, Inc. personal property account. Assessor Ann Grantham

made a motion to approve tax exempt status for 2002; Assessor Lawton Grantham

second the motion, motion carried unanimously.



The Board discussed the Wynnbrook Baptist Church?s request for non-taxability;

however, it was delayed until Assessor Braxton becomes more familiar with laws

dealing with non-taxable properties.



Met with Residential Division Chief Bob O?Brien, reviewed and approved the

following:

Met with Personal Property Division Chief Oliver Juhan, reviewed and approved

the following:
