MR. MANUEL WHITFIELDS? CONCERNS:

Once the staff finds out all the answers to Mr. Manuel Whitefield?s

questions, make sure that those answers are brought back to the Council so that

the public can know what those responses are. (Request of Councilor Turner

Pugh)

TO THE CITY ATTORNEY:

MERITORIOUS RESOLUTIONS:

Within the next few weeks, have the staff to prepare a resolution for

General Freakley who will be leaving Fort Benning to take command of the 10th

THUNDER ON THE HOOCH:

Have the staff to prepare a resolution recognizing WTVM Channel 9 TV and

(Request of Councilor Anthony)

CREEKS:

Have the staff to provide information on an amendment to an Ordinance that

supposedly took place in 1997 where the Council changed the ordinance, as it

relates to creeks and easements. It has been stated that if there is an

easement that runs next to a homeowner?s property and that person is classified

as the owner of that creek.

(Request of Councilor Suber)

Also, outline what is the process of finding this information out and who

is supposed to inform the homeowner that they are the owner of a creek and the

creek side, which the City will not cleanup. (Request of Councilor Suber)

TO THE CITY MANAGER:

911 CALLS:

Have the staff to look into the complaints where residents on the north

side of town have been experiencing problems when making calls to 911 using a

cellular telephone, whereby they are being connected to Russell County in some

instances. With all the modern technology today, check and see if there is

some way we can address this situation. (Request of Councilor Davis)
