CREEKS:
Have the staff to provide information on an amendment to an Ordinance that
supposedly took place in 1997 where the Council changed the ordinance, as it
relates to creeks and easements. It has been stated that if there is an
easement that runs next to a homeowner?s property and that person is classified
as the owner of that creek.
(Request of Councilor Suber)
Also, outline what is the process of finding this information out and who
is supposed to inform the homeowner that they are the owner of a creek and the
creek side, which the City will not cleanup. (Request of Councilor Suber)

TO THE CITY MANAGER:
911 CALLS:
Have the staff to look into the complaints where residents on the north
side of town have been experiencing problems when making calls to 911 using a
cellular telephone, whereby they are being connected to Russell County in some
instances. With all the modern technology today, check and see if there is
some way we can address this situation. (Request of Councilor Davis)
