O R D I N A N C E S:





(1) 1ST Reading ? Rezoning property located at 1200 17th Street is proposed for

rezoning from GC (General Commercial) District to SFR4 (Single Family

Residential 4) District. (49-A-05-Elliott) (Councilor McDaniel) (The Planning

Advisory Commission and the Planning Division recommend approval.)



(2) 1st Reading ? Rezoning property located at 8564 Blackmon Road is proposed

for rezoning from SFR1 (Single Family Residential 1) District to RE5

(Residential Estate 5) (50-A-05 Baker) (Councilor McDaniel) (The Planning

Advisory Commission and the Planning Division recommend approval.)



(3) 1st Reading ? Rezoning property located at the northwest and southwest

corners of Veterans Parkway and Wooldridge Road and north of the aforementioned

northwest corner are proposed for rezoning from RE1 (Residential Estate 1)

District to GC (General Commercial) and RO (Residential Office) District. The

proposed use is retail, office, and apartments. (51-CA-05-Grey Rock

Development, LLC) (Councilor McDaniel) (The Planning Advisory Commission and

the Planning Division recommend conditional approval.)



(4) 1st Reading ? The Columbus City Council has requested that the Unified

Development Ordinance be amended to establish regulations for Retail

Developments of Community Significance. (52-A-05-Planning Division) (Councilor

McDaniel) (The Planning Advisory Commission and the Planning Division

recommend approval.)



(5) 1st Reading - An ordinance granting a franchise to Georgia Power Company

for a term of 35 years; and for other purposes. (Councilor McDaniel)

Chief Appraiser with the Board of Tax Assessors, after 35 years of service.
