(1) 2nd Reading ? Rezoning approximately 9.7 acres of property located at 4201
Reese Road from an R-1A District to an R-2 District. (1-D-03-Donald Bowles,
Inc.) (Councilor Allen) (The Planning Advisory Commission recommends approval
and the Planning Division recommends denial of R-3B.)(As amended.)
(2) 2nd Reading ? Rezoning property located at 3555 Gentian Boulevard from a
C-2 District to a C-3 District. (3-CA-03-GrossBridges Properties) (Councilor
Allen) (Both the Planning Advisory Commission and the Planning Division
recommend Conditional Approval.)
(3) 2nd Reading ? Rezoning approximately 24 acres of property located at 6801
Warm Springs Road (north of the creek) from an A-1 District to an R-1
District. (63-CA-02-Tiger Creek Development, Inc.) (Originally sponsored by
Councilor Smith) (Both the Planning Advisory Commission and the Planning
Division recommend conditional approval.)(As amended.)
(4) 2nd Reading ? Authorizing Columbus Consolidated Government, lessee in the
pooled lease program sponsored by Georgia Municipal Association, to appropriate
amounts required for participation in said program. (Budget Review Chairperson
Pugh)
(5) 1st Reading ? Recognizing the Paramedic Diploma and Licensure by the State
of Georgia as equivalent to an associate degree and providing that Paramedic
Certification Pay shall only be paid to employees who are actively working as
paramedics, supervising the work of Paramedics, Department of Fire and
Emergency Medical Services. (Councilor McDaniel)
(6) 1st Reading ? Amending Chapter 2 of the Columbus Code so as to place the
administrative functions and duties of the Clerk/Chief Administrative Office of
Recorder's Court under the supervision of the Muscogee County Sheriff; deleting
the position of Finance Manager of Recorder's Court and reclassifying the
current general government position of Recorder's Court Clerk to a Judicial
Administrative Technical II; and for other purposes. (Councilor McDaniel)

Parkway (James D. Coley, owner), 2310 N. Andrews Circle (Geraldine Hollis,
owner), 6747 Mitchell Drive (Ulysses & Everlena Jackson, owners) 1415 -29th
Street (W. Richard Jordan, Jr., owner), 621 Radcliff Avenue (Jonnie Lee
Roberson, Estate, owner), 44 & 46 Muscogee Drive (Carolyn E. & Orlando Ryder,
owners), 2004 - 3rd Avenue (Katie B. Tew, owner), 2901 Colorado Street (Ricket

Columbus Public Services Department after 34 years of service. (Mayor Pro-Tem

(10) Expressing appreciation to Joseph L. Morgan upon his retirement with the
Columbus Fire and EMS Department after 33 years of service. (Mayor Pro-Tem

(11) Expressing appreciation to Linda M. Jones upon her retirement with the
