WHEREAS, Mr. Russell G. Brown, with the Public Services Department, will retire

on August 31, 2005;

WHEREAS, Mr. Brown has been with the Public Services Department since August

19, 1980.

NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:

This Council hereby expresses its appreciation for the diligent and faithful

service of

MR. RUSSELL G. BROWN



who has served with the Public Services Department for 25 years. We wish for

him happiness and contentment in his retirement.
