Subject Complaints



Description Have the staff to provide information as to what percentage of

complaints that were received and substantiated to be true. (Request of

Councilor Turner Pugh)



Have the staff to look at putting a complaint form on the website to allow

citizens to complete that form and email back to the Police Department.

(Request of Councilor Hunter) Also, provide a place for a signature on that

form. (Request of Councilor Allen)



Have the Chief of Police and the Public Safety Director to look at developing a

mediation process to allow the complaining party and the officer to come

together and talk about what happened which brought the complaint forth.

Have the staff to outline the complaint process procedures and include the

complaint form that is used by our Citizens Service Center and air it on CCG

TV. (Request of Councilor Woodson)
