A RESOLUTION

NO.

WHEREAS, Carver High School?s Allied Health Club recently competed in the

Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA) state competition in Augusta,

Georgia;



WHEREAS, Carver students Latishia Perry and Erin Johnson captured a 1st place

for Administrative Medical Assisting and Medical Spelling, respectively;



WHEREAS, students Latavia Norris and Tequila Thornton placed 2nd in the

respective categories of Medical Assisting Clinical and Physical Therapy;



WHEREAS, students DeeDee Canionero and Kenyarda Green placed in Career Health

Display;



WHEREAS, these students will be attending the Health Occupation Students of

America (HOSA) National Conference June 22-26, 2005 in Nashville, Tennessee;



WHEREAS, the accomplishments of the Carver High School Allied Health Club of

worthy of special recognition by this Council.



We hereby commend and congratulate the following members of the Carver

High School Allied Health Club upon their success in the HOSA State

Competition: Latishia Perry, Erin Johnson, Latavia Norris, Tequila Thornton,

DeeDee Canionero, Kenyarda Green and Advisors Ms. Doris Forde and Mrs. Lois

Williams. Let a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the above-named

participants.





NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia, held on

the 21st day of June, 2005, and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote
