(1) Conveying condolences to the family of Colonel Richard ?Dick? McKee who

passed away on October 24, 2005. (Mayor and Council)



(2) Conveying condolences to the family of Mr. Frank DuBois Chester who passed

away on October 19, 2005. (Mayor and Council)



(3) Commending John Anker, President of Ankerpak, upon his organizing the local

corporate community to donate items for Katrina Kits in support of Hurricane

Katrina victims in New Orleans, Louisiana. (Councilor Davis)



(4) Commending and congratulating Nigel Williams of Columbus upon recently

serving as a Congressional Page for Congressman Sanford Bishop. (Councilor

Suber)



(5) Commending and congratulating Rigdon Road Elementary School upon being

selected as one of only five schools in Georgia to be a Blue Ribbon School by

the U.S. Secretary of Education. (Councilor Suber)



(6) Commending and congratulating Dr. Tina Cross, a teacher at Carver High

School upon being one of 13 Americans who recently received the Spirit of

Service Award in Washington, DC at the National Conference on Volunteering and
