The terms of office of Ms. Gloria Battle, Dr. Elizabeth Dreelin,

Mrs. Carlton Franklin, and Ms. Andrea Richardson on the Tree Board will expire

on December 31, 2003. All four are eligible to succeed themselves. This will be

the end of their first initial term of office and their new term of office will

be a 3-year term.



Mrs. Carlton Franklin has been nominated to serve on The Medical Center

Hospital Authority, and if she is appointed to serve on that board, the Council

would need to nominate a replacement for her.



Enclosed is a copy of our data sheet, as well as a list of the current

members.

Charge/Mission

This board administers examinations to applicants seeking certification for

properly maintaining and/or removing trees on public property, acts on

adjustment of standards applications, makes recommendations to the city

arborist and the Columbus Council, and acts on other matters designated by the

Columbus Code or by the Columbus Council. It has eleven (11) members, all of
