A RESOLUTION







WHEREAS, Staff Sergeant Andrew J. Bullock of Fort Benning has been selected as

Army Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year;



WHEREAS, he was born and raised in San Diego, California, attended Brigham

Young University for one year and joined the Airborne Infantry School in 1996;



WHEREAS, he was assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division at Ft. Bragg, North

Carolina and served in the 2nd Bn.,505th PIR from 1997 until 2002;



WHEREAS, he served in Kosovo in Operation Joint Guardian, in Egypt in the

Multinational Force and Observers Mission, and numerous rotations to the Joint

Readiness Training Center and the National Training Center;



WHEREAS, he currently serves as a tactics ranger instructor for the 5th Ranger

Training Battalion;



WHEREAS, he has been awarded three Army Commendation Medals, seven Army

Achievement Medals, two Good Conduct Medals, and the Expert Infantryman's Badge.



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



We hereby commend and congratulate Staff Sergeant Andrew J. Bullock upon his

selection as Army Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year. Columbus is proud of

his achievements and of his service to his country and we wish him every

success in the future. Let a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to Staff

Sergeant Andrew J. Bullock.

the 16th day of November, 2004, and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative

vote of ten members of said Council.
