I. GEORGIA EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY (GEMA) - HOMELAND SECURITY EXERCISE AND
EVALUATION PROGRAM (GHSEEP) GRANT:
Authorization is requested to accept a grant for $88,894 from the Georgia
Emergency Management Agency funded through the Georgia Homeland Security
Exercise and Evaluation Program (GHSEEP) and amend the budget by increasing the
Multi-Governmental fund for the amount of the grant. An agenda report and
resolution are attached.
II. GRANT - SALTON ANTITRUST SETTLEMENT FUNDS - JUVENILE DRUG PROGRAM:
Authorization is requested to submit an application and accept a $50,000 grant
from the Salton Antitrust Settlement Fund for the purpose of providing services
for the Columbus/Muscogee County Juvenile Drug Court Program and amend the
Multi-Governmental fund for the awarded/approved amount. An agenda report and
resolution are attached.
III. GRANT APPLICATION - NATIONAL CRIMINAL HISTORY IMPLEMENTATION GRANT:
Authorization is requested to submit an application and accept a $23,829 grant
from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) and the purchase of equipment
and training from IDentix for the National Criminal History Implementation
Grant as well as amend the Multi-Governmental fund for the amount of the
grant. An agenda report and resolution are attached.
IV. ASSOCIATION COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF GEORGIA -GROUP SELF-INSURANCE WORKERS'
COMPENSATION FUND'S (ACCG-GSIWCF) SAFETY INCENTIVE PROGRAM:
Authorization is requested to participate in the ACCG-GSIWCF's Safety
Incentive Program. An agenda report and resolution are attached.
There will be a pre-council briefing Tuesday, January 4, 2005 at 5:00p.m. in
the Council Chamber Conference Room.
V. GEORGIA PUBLIC DEFENDER STANDARDS COUNCIL - CONTRACT:
Authorization is requested to establish the Circuit wide Public
Defenders Base budget from January 1 ? June 30, 2005 for Muscogee County at
$478,000 and authorize the Mayor to enter into a contract for the same period
with the Georgia Public Defender Standards Council to provide administrative
support for Public Defender personnel in the Superior and Juvenile Court. An
agenda report and resolution are attached.
VI. STEELECREEK COURT LOCATED IN SECTION ONE, STEELECREEK SUBDIVISION:
Authorization is requested for the acceptance of a deed to a portion of
SteelCreek Drive and a portion of SteeleCreek Court located in Section One,
StreeleCreek Subdivision. The Department of Engineering has inspected these
streets and recommends the acceptance. An agenda report, map and resolution
are attached.

1. Ford Crown Victoria Pursuit Vehicles? RFB No. 05-0039
Scope of Bid
Provide thirty-eight (38) Ford Crown Victoria Police Pursuit Vehicles to be
used by the Police Department, Sheriff Department and Marshal Department. Due
to interior and storage space needs, the City has decided that the Ford Crown
Victoria is the only pursuit car that meets those needs.

1. Exclusive Soft Drink Vending Services & Pouring Rights for Edgewood
Park (Annual Contract) ?

Scope of Bid
Provide the Columbus Consolidated Government (the City) soft drink vending
services & pouring rights for Edgewood Park. The contract term will be for a
period of nineteen (19) months ending July 24, 2006. Provisions for
termination of the contract between the contractor and Columbus Consolidated
Government will be made a part of the final contract.
2. Low Floor Mini-Bus (Annual Contract) ? RFB No. 05-0045
Scope of Bid
The Consolidated Government of Columbus, Georgia (the City) is seeking vendors
to provide Low Floor Mini Buses to METRA on an ?as needed? basis. The City
anticipates purchasing approximately 12 buses over a four (4) year period.

Scope of Bid
The City of Columbus invites qualified firms to submit proposals for
the provision of recovery services related to bad checks on an ?as needed
basis?. The initial term of this contract shall be for one year, with the
option to renew for two additional twelve-month periods. Contract renewal will
be contingent upon the mutual agreement of the City and the Contractor.

Scope of RFP
Columbus Consolidated Government (the City) desires to purchase approximately
15 triage tracking devices and bar-coded triage tags. The department of Fire
and Emergency Medical Services will use the items.

Scope of RFP
Provide demolition services to the City of Columbus on an ?as needed
basis?. The initial term of this contract shall be for two years, with the
option to renew for three additional twelve-month periods. Contract renewal
