A Resolution cancelling the regular Council meeting originally scheduled

for December 30, 2003.



WHEREAS, Thursday, December 25, 2003 and Friday, December 26, 2003 are

regular holidays for the Columbus Consolidated Government; and,



WHEREAS, due to these holidays, there would be limited time to adequately

prepare items for the next regularly scheduled meeting of December 30, 2003;

and,



WHEREAS, the business of the Consolidated Government can be properly

conducted without the necessity of a Council meeting on Tuesday, December 30,

2003;



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



That the regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia originally

scheduled for December 30, 2003 is hereby cancelled.

Introduced and read at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus,

Georgia held on the 9th day of December 2003 and adopted at said meeting by the

affirmative vote of members of said Council.
