A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AMENDING RESOLUTION #147-03 TO EXTEND THE

SOUTH GEORGIA WAVES BASEBALL TEAM CONTRACT FOR LEASING GOLDEN PARK.



WHEREAS, discussions have led to amending the lease agreement between

Columbus and Main Street Baseball LLC. for two additional years effective

November 1, 2003 through October 31, 2005, at $4,000 per month; and,



WHEREAS, this Council deems it appropriate to authorize the City Manager to

amend the lease agreement with Main Street Baseball LLC.



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



I.

That the City Manager is hereby authorize to enter into an amended lease

agreement with Main Street Baseball LLC for the lease of Golden Park effective

November 1, 2003 through October 31, 2005 for two years at $4,000 per month;

and,



II.

Resolution #147-03 is hereby amended.
