A RESOLUTION



NO.



WHEREAS, Columbus High School was recently honored by the State Superintendent

of Schools as one of the State's highest-achieving schools;



WHEREAS, Columbus High is one of twenty-six schools that State Superintendent

Kathy Cox named as 2004 Georgia Schools of Excellence in Student Achievement;



WHEREAS, this high honor is worthy of special recognition by this Council.



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



We commend and congratulate Columbus High School Principal Susan Bryant and the

Columbus High School faculty and students upon their selection as a 2004

Georgia School of Excellence in Student Achievement. Columbus is truly proud of

their accomplishment and we wish them every success in the future.
