An Ordinance amending Ordinance #00-36 that amended certain

boundaries of a district located at the north side of Macon Road, approximately

3,950 feet west of Midland Road (southern portion of the Miller Tract). The

purpose of this amendment is to amend condition numbers 1, 2, and 3.



THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:



Ordinance Number 00-36 is hereby amended by deleting condition numbers

1, 2, and 3 and replacing them with the following:



1. A 200-feet undisturbed, natural buffer shall be provided adjacent to all

property lines except: (a) the southern property line adjacent to Macon Road,

(b) the northwest property line contiguous to the property to the northwest of

the subject property presently owned by the applicant, and (c) along any

property line contiguous to other property presently zoned M-1 or M-2. Said

buffer shall be 200-feet wide on the west side of the existing lake on the

property.

2. Two access points shall be permitted on Macon Road for the industrial park.

3. The following M-1 uses shall be prohibited:

a. Agriculture

i. Livestock sales pavilion or farmer?s market including slaughterhouses

b. Animal Care Facilities

c. Automotive: Sales & Service

d. Boats: Sales & Service

e. Retail Trade

f. Services

i. Crematory

ii. Dry cleaning plants and power laundries

g. Storage

i. Scrap and junkyards

ii. Storage yards for vehicles, not including the parking of vehicles for sale

or lease

h. Transportation

i. Airports for general aviation

ii. Bus stations for passengers and freight

iii. Train station for passengers and freight

iv. Taxi stands and dispatching agencies
