A RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Columbus home builder Ronald Edwards was recently inducted into the

Home Builders' Association of Georgia Hall of Fame;



WHEREAS, he has worked with the home building industry for nearly 40 years

including service as President of the Georgia Home Builders, the Greater

Columbus Home Builders' Association and sitting on the National Board of

Directors;



WHEREAS, induction into the Home Builders' Association Hall of Fame is the

highest honor one can achieve in this industry in Georgia;



WHEREAS, he joins the late Ray M. Wright and Richard Lane, retired from Wilson

Lane Contractors as the third Columbus inductee into the Hall of Fame;



WHEREAS, he graduated from Columbus High School in 1956, attended Auburn

University and served six years in the Georgia National Guard;



WHEREAS, Mr. Edwards is owner of Ronald A. Edwards Construction and co-owner of

RAE Construction in Columbus.



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



We hereby commend and congratulate Mr. Ronald Edwards upon his induction into

the Home Builders' Association of Georgia Hall of Fame. Columbus is proud of

his service to his community and the home building industry and we wish him

every success in the future. Let a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr.

Ronald Edwards.
