A RESOLUTION



NO.





WHEREAS, the Brookstone School competitive Cheerleading Team recently finished

second in the Georgia High School Association State Cheerleading Championship

held at the Columbus Civic Center;



WHEREAS, the Lady Cougars also won the Region 2-A cheerleading meet and

advanced to the finals;



WHEREAS, the accomplishments of the Lady Cougars Cheerleading Team are worthy

of special recognition by this Council.



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



We commend and congratulate Coach Pam Shuler, Assistant Coach Isabelle Warren

and the following members of the Brookstone School Cheerleading Team upon their

Second Place finish in the Georgia High School Association State Cheerleading

Championship: Mary Leavitt Allison, Sara Berry, Katherine Brandon, Leslee

Champion, Andrea Flandry, Garrett Griffin, Lindsay Hawkins, Alee Morrison,

Baili Marrison, Kate Mullin, Kathleen Pease, Haylee Riddle, Mary Scarborough,

Caroline Smith, Elizabeth Swift, Kristin Tidwell, Sally Varner, and Lane

White. Columbus is truly proud of this team and we wish them every success in

the future.
