I. COLUMBUS BUILDING AUTHORITY - LEASE REVENUE BOND:
Authorization is requested to allow the Columbus Building Authority to take any
preliminary steps necessary for the issuance of Columbus Building Authority
lease Revenue Bonds in the aggregate principal amount of approximately
$22,000,000, exclusive of the costs of issuance; to declare the official intent
of Columbus to borrow for the Columbus Convention and Trade Center project,
and other purposes. An agenda report and resolution are attached.
II. FY2005 - 5307 CAPITAL/PLANNING APPLICATION
Authorization is requested to submit an application and accept grant funds from
the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and the Georgia Department of
Transportation (GDOT). An agenda report and two (2) resolutions are attached.
III. CHATTAHOOCHEE RIVERWALK / BIBB MILL CONNECTOR:
Authorization is requested to submit an application and if approved accept $1
million in grant funds from The Transportation Enhancement Program which is
administered by The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT). An agenda
report and resolution are attached.
NOTE: THERE WILL BE A PRE-COUNCIL BRIEFING TUESDAY AT 8:30 A.M. IN THE
COUNCIL CHAMBER CONFERENCE ROOM ON VARIOUS ISSUES.

Scope of Bid
Provide two (2), Fifteen (15) Passenger Vans to be used by the Community
Services Division and Sheriff?s Motor Transport Division; and one (1), Seven
(7) Passenger Mini-Van to be used by the Motor Transport Division of the
Columbus Police Dept.
2. Columbus Gateways Landscaping ? Bid No. 04-0025
Scope of Bid
The work shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment and
incidentals and performing all work required to landscape I-185/Smith Road
Interchange and Manchester Expressway/Miller Road Interchange.
3. Miscellaneous Hardware Supplies (Annual Contract) ? Bid No. 04-0022
Scope of Bid
Provide miscellaneous hardware supplies of various types and quantities on an
?as needed? basis to be utilized primarily by the Facilities Maintenance
Department. The contract term will be for one year, with the option to renew
for two additional twelve-month periods.
4. 20 Ft. Flex Wing rotary Cutter **Re-Bid**
Scope of Bid
To provide a 20 Ft. Flex Wing Rotary Cutter to be used by the Right-of-Way
Division of the Public Services Department. The Fleet Manager and using
department have determined the following manufacturer/model names meet
specifications: Rhino FL20, Bush Hog 2720, Bush Whacker T-240, or equal.
Vendors may bid on one or more units. The City will purchase one (1) unit.

1. Regional Detention Pond and Wetland Mitigation ? Bid No. 04-0023
Scope of Bid
The work shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment and
incidentals and performing all work required to construct complete-in-place and
ready-to-operate regional storm water detention ponds for the Muscogee
Technology Park. Also included is grading and erosion control measures to
create wetlands. The work involves construction of earthen berms approximately
2ft ? 5ft in height in an undeveloped area of the park along Bull Creek and its
tributaries.
