Meeting review:



James Wilson acting as Chairman called the meeting to order. Lynnette Gross

briefed the Board regarding Council agreeing to transfer 12 parcels of Real

Estate to the Land Bank Authority.



The Lee Grogan made a motion to accept the 12 parcels properties into the Land

Bank. The motion was carried. City staff will prepare documentation to

transfer the properties into the Land Bank Authority to deed to Columbus

Housing Initiative and Habitat.



There was some discussion of the Board?s acquiring additional properties. It

was decided this was not in the best interest of the Land Bank Authority nor

the City.



Kathy Vaughn questioned what is the definition of ?to cause? when referencing

the Land Bank Authority ?causing? the tax commissioner to transfer properties.

She requested we get a legal opinion from Clifton Fay, City Attorney.
