RESOLUTION

NO.

WHEREAS, Ms. Brenda Price, Executive Director of the Columbus Convention and

Visitors Bureau, will retire on May 1, 2003;

WHEREAS, Ms. Price has been with the Columbus Convention and Visitors Bureau

since April, 1991;

WHEREAS, she was actively involved in the successful staging of the 1996

Olympic Women's Softball competition, has played a major role in luring

conventions to the area and has welcomed tour groups, large and small, to

Columbus during her tenure;

WHEREAS, her service to the Columbus community is worthy of special recognition

by this Council.

NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



This Council hereby expresses its appreciation for the diligent and faithful

service of

MS. BRENDA PRICE



who has served with the Columbus Convention and Visitors Bureau for 12 years.

We wish for her happiness and contentment in her retirement. Let a copy of

this Resolution be forwarded to Ms. Brenda Price.
