PUBLIC SAFETY STANDARDS:
Research the ordinances and resolutions and provide a report regarding the
Mayor?s authority to make changes in the criteria for Public Safety policies
and procedures without the consent of the Council. (Request of Councilor
Suber)

RESOLUTION FOR CANDICE TURNER:
Provide a resolution for Ms. Candice Turner, who was named by NCAA as the
?Woman Athlete of the Year? for the State of Georgia. (Request of Councilor
Hunter)

TO THE CITY MANAGER:
BUFFER ORDINANCE:
Schedule a work session to revisit the buffer ordinance to determine the
intent of this ordinance. (Request of Councilor Turner Pugh)
Have the staff explain to citizens the buffer ordinance when we are
dealing with A-O classifications bordering residential properties. (Request of
Councilor Suber)

DAYCARE CENTERS:
Have the staff to provide a list of any other churches that are located in
residential neighborhoods that have full-time daycare centers (Request of
Councilor Turner Pugh)
Provide a list of how many schools are a part of churches, and how many of
the churches were grandfathered in. Also provide the differences between
churches and schools that are private or church related faith based. (Request
of Councilor Woodson)

PUBLIC SAFETY STANDARDS:
Provide a work session to look at the ordinance change that was approved
for the Police and Fire & EMS Departments to allow the standards to be lowered
for a certain amount of time. (Request of Councilor Turner Pugh)

SKATEBOARD PARK:
Advertise on the CCG-TV the scheduled dates for public meeting for the
Skateboard Park. (Request of Councilor Woodson)
Also let?s get the School Representatives for the Youth Advisory Council
to take information regarding the public meetings for the Skateboard Park back
to their schools to allow more youth participation. (Request of Councilor
Woodson)
