Response Whenever an automobile manufacturer has a recall of a model of
automobile, they send out notices to the owner identifying the automobile by
VIN number with instructions on what to do to get the defect corrected. Ford
Motor Company will send out notices of recalls to us on each automobile that
has a defect with instructions for correcting the problem. We have not
received any recall notices on the fuel tank of the Crown Victoria as of this
date. When we receive the notices, we will follow the instructions and get
the defect corrected.
