An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government

of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district

located at 4347 Macon Road from R-1A (Low Density Residential) District to R-3

(Medium Density Residential) District.



THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:



That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Division of the

Department of Community and Economic Development be, and the same is hereby

amended by changing the following described property from R-1A (Low Density

Residential) District to R-3 (Medium Density Residential) District:



All those lots, tracts and parcels of land situate, lying and being in the

Eighth (8th) District of Muscogee County, Georgia known and designated as Lots

Numbered 18 and 19 in Block Lettered ?P? of that certain subdivision known as

?WOODLAWN ESTATES,? as shown on a map or plat thereof recorded on Plat Book 1,

Folio 216, in the Office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Muscogee County,

Georgia.



The above-described property is being rezoned with the following conditions:



1. A Category B, Option 2 buffer shall be required along the northwest property

line.

2. If the property ceases to exist as a day care center, then the Planning

Division shall rezone the property back to the R-1A zoning district.
