An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government
of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district
located at 2421 Victory Drive from LMI (Light Manufacturing / Industrial)
District to GC (General Commercial) District.
THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:
That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Division of the
Department of Community and Economic Development be, and the same is hereby
amended by changing the following described property from LMI (Light
Manufacturing / Industrial) District to GC (General Commercial) District:
All that lot, tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in the State of
Georgia, County of Muscogee and City of Columbus, and being PART OF LAND LOT 67
of the COWETA RESERVE of said county, and being more particularly described as
follows:
Commencing at an iron stake located at the intersection of the northeasterly
margin of Victory Drive and the northwesterly margin of 25th Avenue and running
thence N 55 degrees 05 minutes 00 seconds W along the northeasterly margin of
Victory Drive a distance of 400 feet to an iron stake that marks the point of
beginning; thence running N 55 degrees 05 minutes 00 seconds W along the
northeasterly margin of Victory Drive a distance of 200 feet to an iron stake;
thence running N 34 degrees 55 minutes 00 seconds E a distance of 600 feet to
an iron stake; thence running S 55 degrees 05 minutes 00 seconds E a distance
of 200 feet to an iron stake; thence running S 34 degrees 55 minutes 00 seconds
W a distance of 600 feet to an iron stake that marks the point of beginning.
The above-described property is being rezoned with the following conditions:
1. The property shall be used as a church and its accessory uses only.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia held on the
19th day of June, 2005; introduced a second time at a regular meeting of said
Council held on the day of , 2005 and adopted at said meeting
