AN ORDINANCE REGULATING VEHICULAR TRAFFIC IN COLUMBUS, GEORGIA BY
ESTABLISHING/AMENDING THE PARKING RESTRICTIONS ALONG THE FOLLOWING STREET
SEGMENTS: BLACKMON ROAD: ESTABLISHING A NO PARKING ANYTIME, ON THE SHOULDER OR
ON THE RIGHT OF WAY, BEGINNING AT THE SOUTH CURB OF SONOMA POINTE DRIVE AND
RUNNING SOUTH ALONG THE EAST SIDE OF BLACKON ROAD A DISTANCE OF 150 FEET;
ESTABLISHING A NO PARKING ANY TIME ON SCHOOL DAYS ON THE SHOULDER OR ON THE
RIGHT OF WAY, BEGINNING AT THE SOUTH CURB OF SONOMA POINTE DRIVE AND RUNNING
NORTH ALONG THE EAST SIDE OF BLACKMON ROAD A DISTANCE OF 930 FFET; AUTHORIZING
THE INSTALLATION OF OFFICIAL TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNS INDICATING SAID PARKING
RESTRICTIONS; REPEALING ANY CONFLICTING ORDINANCES AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I.
That it shall be unlawful for any person to park or rank a vehicle along the
following described street segment anytime:
Blackmon Road - along the east side of the roadway beginning at the south curb
of Sonoma Pointe Drive running south a distance of 150 feet.
SECTION II.
That it shall be unlawful for any person to park or rank a vehicle along the
following describe street any time on School Days:
Blackmon Road ? along the east side of the roadway beginning at the south curb
of Sonoma Pointe Drive running north a distance of 930 feet.
SECTION III.
That official traffic control signs shall be installed indicating the parking
restrictions described herein Sections I and II.
SECTION IV.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are
hereby repealed.
Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia held on the
20th day of September 2005 ; introduced a second time at a regular meeting of
said Council held on the 27th day of September, 2005 , and adopted at said
meeting by the affirmative vote of _____ members of Council.
