A RESOLUTION
NO.
WHEREAS, the Bull Creek Babe Ruth 15 Year-Old Baseball team recently won the
2004 Georgia State Championship;
WHEREAS, the Bull Creek team defeated the Coastal team of Brunswick, Georgia to
clinch their victory;
WHEREAS, the team then advanced to the Southeast Regionals held in Manassas,
Virginia from August 5-11, 2004 and Bull Creek was defeated by Alabama in the
second round;
WHEREAS, this team's accomplishments are worthy of special recognition by this
Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
We hereby commend and congratulate the Bull Creek Babe Ruth 15 Year-Old
Baseball team upon their victory in the 2004 Georgia State Championship and
upon their participation in the Southeast Regionals held in Manassas, Virginia:
Manager Bobby Graham and Coaches Scott A. Kirk, Cecil Burt and Keith Lambert
and Players Colin Banaszak, Michael Cosby, Tyler Crowder, Will Ellis, Kevin
Foxworth, Tyler Googe, Ryan Graham, Justin Jones, Ryan Kirk, Lance Lambert and
Robert Nettles. Columbus is truly proud of this team's hard work and
dedication and we wish them every success in the future. Let a copy of this
resolution be forwarded to the above-named participants.
