WHEREAS, Teacher of the Year honorees in the Muscogee County School District

are selected based upon teaching excellence, and innovation in the classroom,

professional leadership and community involvement;



WHEREAS, honorees become part of the Muscogee Educational Excellence

Foundation=s Merit Teachers and all honorees receive special recognition for

their teaching excellence.

We hereby commend and congratulate Wesley Heights Elementary School teacher

Barbara Farish upon her selection as 2002 Teacher of the year. Columbus is
