WHEREAS, Mr. Willis B. Glisson, former employee with the Public Services
Department, died on August 18, 2005;
WHEREAS, Mr. Glisson retired on February 1, 1991 after serving 27 years with
the Public Services Department.
NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
We hereby convey to the family of Mr. Willis B. Glisson our sincere condolences
and deepest sympathy. Mr. Glisson was an outstanding employee with the Public
Services Department and he will be missed by all who knew him.

WHEREAS, Mr. Frankie L. Williams, former employee with the Park Services
Department, died on August 22, 2005;
WHEREAS, Mr. Williams retired on June 1, 1998 after serving 32 years with the
Park Services Department.
NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
We hereby convey to the family of Mr. Frankie L. Williams our sincere
condolences and deepest sympathy. Mr. Williams was an outstanding employee
with the Public Services Department and he will be missed by all who knew him.
