WHEREAS, Mr. Harry J. Youmans, former employee with the Public Services, died

on February 27 2002;



WHEREAS, Mr. Youmans was scheduled to retire on February 28, 2002 after serving

18 years with Public Services.



NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:





We hereby convey to the family of Mr. Harry J. Youmans our sincere condolences

and deepest sympathy. Mr. Youmans was an outstanding employee of the Public

Services and he will be missed by all who knew him.

WHEREAS, Mr. Clifford F. Hull, former employee with Metra/Transit, died on

April 14, 2002;

WHEREAS, Mr. Hull retired on June 30, 1983 after serving 40 years with

Metra/Transit.



NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:





We hereby convey to the family of Mr. Clifford F. Hull our sincere condolences

and deepest sympathy. Mr. Hull was an outstanding employee of Metra/Transit

and he will be missed by all who knew him.

Department, died on April 16, 2002;



WHEREAS, Mr. Jackson retired on December 31, 1988 after serving 31 years with

the Columbus Police Department.



NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:





We hereby convey to the family of Mr. Robert P. Jackson our sincere condolences

and deepest sympathy. Mr. Jackson was an outstanding employee of the Columbus

Police Department and he will be missed by all who knew him.

WHEREAS, Mr. Douglas retired on August 31, 2000 after serving 17 years with the

Columbus Police Department Administrative Services.



NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



We hereby convey to the family of Mr. Gerald A. Douglas our sincere condolences

and deepest sympathy. Mr. Douglas was an outstanding employee of the Columbus

Police Department Administrative Services and he will be missed by all who knew

him.
