(3) 2ND READING - Rezoning property located at 6740 Mobley Road from an R-1
District to an R-1A District. (13-CA-04-Brian Grier, Inc.) (Mayor Pro-Tem
Rodgers) (Both the Planning Advisory Commission and the Planning Division
recommend conditional approval.)
(4) 2ND READING - Rezoning property located at 3401 and 3507 Schatulga Road;
5615, 5619 and 5631 Peggy Drive and 6910 Aldora Drive from an R-1A District to

(5) QUIT CLAIM DEED - GEORGIA:
Authorization is requested to execute a Quit Claim Deed for Turnberry Lane at
Veterans Parkway to the Georgia Department of Transportation. The Department
of Engineering has inspected this street and recommends the acceptance. An
agenda report, map and resolution are attached.
(6) ACCEPTANCE OF STREET - AARON LANE:
Authorization is requested to accept a deed to Aaron Lane located in
Section Four, Spring Ridge Subdivision. The Department of Engineering has
inspected this street and recommends the acceptance. An agenda report and map
are attached.
(7) Resolution excusing Councilor Evelyn Turner Pugh from the April 20, 2004
Council Meeting.
(8) TEMPORARY STREET CLOSURE:
Application of Karen Stewart to temporarily close Wingfield Drive
between Downing and Dell Drive, on Sunday, May 2, 2004, from 4:30 p.m. ? 8:30
p.m. in connection with a ?Neighborhood Party?.
(9) COMMENDING METRA BUS OPERATORS:
A resolution commending and congratulating Metra Bus Operators for
demonstrating expert driving skills in the Annual Southwest Georgia Local
Transit Roadeo Competition.

Provide one (1) Alpha 9200c message board with Ethernet option and one
(1) Alpha Net Plus Software. The message board will be mounted at the
Government Center and used to provide information about Columbus Consolidated
events.
2. HVAC Preventive Maintenance Services (Annual Contract) ? Bid No. 04-0071
Scope of Bid
Provide preventive maintenance and/or repair service for chillers at
various locations. The contract term shall be for one (1) year, with the option
to renew for two (2) additional twelve-month periods. Contract will
automatically renew on the anniversary date, unless either party gives a 30-day
written notice of cancellation.

1. Community Planning Consulting Services ? RFP No. 04-0022
Scope of RFP
Columbus Consolidated Government is soliciting proposals for consulting
services for community planning for Columbus/Muscogee County. The selected
firm will provide consulting services, which provide direction for community
planning strategies for the County and the updating of the Comprehensive Plan.
Examples of the planning strategies are land use, historic preservation and
neighborhood conservation, transportation infrastructure, and pedestrian
movement and access.
