RESOLUTIONS:
Have the staff to prepare a resolution congratulating the Northside
High School Rifle Team for winning the State Championship. (Request of

SENATE BILL 90:
Have the staff to provide an update on senate Bill 90, the Georgia
Smokefree Air Act. (Request of Councilor Davis)

CEMETERY PLANS:
Make sure the plans submitted by the Auburn University Students are
presented to the City Manager; so we can begin to study it to see what we can
do to implement the plan. (Request of Mayor Poydasheff)

DEMOLITION HEARING RECORDING:
Have the staff to provide a copy of the recording of the meeting from the
demolition hearing on the property located at 1336 23rd Street, 2213 & 2217
14th Avenue as it relates to what commitment, if any, was made to the property
owners. (Request of Councilor Turner Pugh)
Let?s make sure that we clearly annunciate our policy with regards to the
demolition hearings, in that all 45-day hearings shall be recorded and those
records shall be kept and maintained for a period of at least beyond the appeal
timeframe. Also, have the staff to get together with the City Attorney with
regards to the protocol for disposing of those tapes. (Request of Councilor

SPEED CONTROLS:
Have the staff to look at Wilder Drive, Dawson Drive, Higgs Drive and Dirk
Way for possible speed controls. (Request of Councilor Turner Pugh)

Have the staff to explore the possibility of us trying to do our own
mulching at the Granite Bluff Landfill. (Request of Councilor Henderson)

GEORGIA POWER:
Have the City Manager to take a look at the letter received from Georgia
Power Company in which they are offering certain services and provide his
thoughts on what they are offering. (Request of Councilor Davis)

BAD CHECK RECOVERY SERVICES:
When the contractor provides a monthly report to the Solicitor General?s
office, let?s also have them to forward a copy of that report to the Council.
