BUILDING CONTRACTORS EXAMINING BOARD

REGULAR MEETING - 11:00 A. M. ? DECEMBER 4, 2003





The regular monthly meeting of the Building Contractors' Examining

Board was held Thursday, December 4, 2003, at 11:00 A. M., in the office of the

Building Official. Members present were:

Mr. Howard Bartlett Mr. William L. Duck, Jr.

Mr. Johnny Cargill Mr. Tommy Hinton

Mr. Allen Wright



Fourteen (14) applications were considered by the Board. Certificates

of Qualification were issued to the following applicants:



Residential Certificates

George E. Kritko

Country Classic Builders, Inc. Tyrone, Georgia

H. Jack Warden Columbus, Georgia



Mr. Cargill made a motion, which was seconded by Mr. Bartlett, to issue

Certificates of Qualification to these applicants on the basis of their grades

on the examination, their letters of recommendation, and their qualifications,

as revealed by their resumes, which showed the times and places of their work

experience. (Examinations were administered by International Code Congress

{formerly, SBCCI, Southern Building Code Congress, International}, on Saturday,

November 29, 2003.) Motion carried unanimously.



None of the other twelve (12) who applied passed the examination. Mr.

Hinton made a motion, which was seconded by Mr. Cargill not to issue

Certificates of Qualification to these twelve applicants until they pass the

examination. Motion carried unanimously.



The Minutes of the Monthly Meeting of November 6, 2003, were approved

as presented.



There being no further business to come before the Board, the

meeting adjourned at 11:25 A. M.
