TAXICAB BUSINESS LICENSES:
Have the staff to do some research and determine what the requirements are
for taxicab business owners, who doesn?t have a business based in Columbus, and
if they are based in Alabama; as it was her understanding that they could only
drop off in Columbus, and not operate a taxicab service in Columbus without
having a physical business here. (Request of Councilor Turner Pugh)

TO THE CITY MANAGER:
TREE:
Have the staff to send someone to check on a tree that fell during the
recent storm, and the City went and cut the tree, and moved it so the gentleman
could get in and out of his driveway, but they didn?t move the roots of the
tree. (Request of Councilor Woodson)

MEET THE CANDIDATES FORUM:
Have the staff to run on CCG-TV, the information regarding the ?Meet the
Candidates Forum? which will be held Thursday, August 15, 2002 at 7:00 p.m.,
sponsored by the South Columbus Citizens Coalition, at the new Girl?s Club,
Inc., located at 3535 Levy Road. (Request of Councilor Hunter)
