An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government

of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district

located at 5304 Hurst Drive from R-1 (Low Density Residential) District to R-3A

(Medium Density Residential) District.



THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:



That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Division of the

Department of Community and Economic Development be, and the same is hereby

amended by changing the following described property from R-1 (Low Density

Residential) District to R-3A (Medium Density Residential) District:



All that lot, tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in Columbus,

Muscogee County, Georgia, and being known and designated as ST. ANDREW UNITED

METHODIST CHURCH in BLOCK LETTERED ?G?, of that subdivision of land known as

SECTION THREE, MURRAY HILLS, as said lot appears upon a map or plat of said

subdivision dated July 12, 1972, prepared by Siegel Engineering Company,

recorded in Plat Book 52, Page 6, in the Office of the Clerk of the Superior

Court of Muscogee County, Georgia, to which reference is made for the specific

location and dimensions of said lot.



The above-described property is being rezoned with the following conditions:



1. If the property ceases to be operated as a women?s home for Teen Challenge,

then the Planning Division shall rezone the property back to the R-1 zoning

district.
