WHEREAS, Jocelyn Rooks, a seventh-grader at Double Churches Middle School,

recently took second place in the Muscogee County School District Spelling Bee;



WHEREAS, she also competed at the Byron City Complex Auditorium in one of

Georgia?s eleven regional spelling competitions;



WHEREAS, her accomplishments are worthy of special recognition by this Council.



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



We hereby commend and congratulate Double Churches Middle School student

Jocelyn Rooks upon her second-place finish in the Muscogee County School

District Spelling Bee and we wish her every success in the future. Let a copy

of this Resolution be forwarded to Jocelyn Rooks.
