I. GENERAL MILLS NUTRITION AND FITNESS GRANT:



Authorization is requested to an application and if approved accept funds from

General Mills in conjunctions with The President's Challenge for Youth health

and wellbeing in the after-school programs and day camps. The grant is being

awarded to 50 communities in the amount of $10,000.000. An agenda report and

resolution are attached.





II. STREET ACCEPTANCE - PORTION OF MEADOW VALLEY COURT AND CROSS CREEK LANE

LOCATED IN HIGHLANDS PHASE EIGHT, GARRETT CREEK:



Authorization is requested for the acceptance of a deed to a portion of

Meadow Valley Court and Cross Creek Lane located in Highlands Phase Eight,

Garrett Creek. The Department of Engineering has inspected these streets and

recommends the acceptance. An agenda report, map and resolution are attached.





III. STREET ACCEPTANCE - LONESOME POINTE DRIVE, WHITE PINE DRIVE, SOUTHLAKE

DRIVE, LONESOME PINE COURT, SLASH PINE DRIVE AND TALL PINE COURT LOCATED IN

SECTIONS THREE AND FOUR, GARRETT PINES:



Authorization is requested for the acceptance of a deed to Lonesome

Pine Drive, White Pine Drive, portion of Southlake Drive, portion of Lonesome

Pine Court, portion of Slash Pine Drive and a portion of Tall Pine Court,

located in Sections Three and Four, Garrett Pines. The Department of

Engineering has inspected these streets and recommends the acceptance. An

agenda report, map and resolution are attached.





IV. STREET ACCEPTANCE - MOBLEY WALK DRIVE, MOBLEY WALK COURT AND THE NATURAL

DETENTION BASIN LOCATED IN MOBLEY WALK SUBDIVISION:



Authorization is requested for the acceptance of a deed to Mobley Walk

Drive, Mobley Walk Court and the Natural Detention Basin 1.76 acres, located in

Mobley Walk Subdivision. The Department of Engineering has inspected these

streets and natural detention basin and recommends the acceptance. An agenda

report, map and resolution are attached.

Scope of Bid

Provide utility carts to METRA on an ?as needed? basis. The contract term will

be for one (1) year with the option to renew for two (2) additional

twelve-month periods. During the three contract years (FY2005, FY2006, and

FY2007) 0-3 utility carts may be purchased, per year.

1. Veterans Parkway Streetscape Enhancement Plan ? RFP No. 05-0010

Scope of RFP

Columbus Consolidated Government (the City), on behalf of Trees Columbus, has

received a Transportation Enhancement grant from the state of Georgia to

provide streetscape improvements along a section of Veterans Parkway. The

project is anticipated to begin at Victory Drive (4th Street) in front of the

Columbus Civic Center, and proceed approximately 1.2 miles north to the 13th

Street Intersection.
