An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government

of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district

located along the northeast side of Blackmon Road, 1,094 feet north of Warm

Springs Road, from A-1 (Agricultural) District to R-2 (Low Density Residential)

District.



THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:



That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Division of the

Department of Community and Economic Development be, and the same is hereby

amended by changing the following described property from A-1 (Agricultural)

District to R-2 (Low Density Residential) District:

Commencing from a point on city right-of-way at the northeast corner of

intersection of Blackmon Road and Warm Springs Road, thence heading N 66

degrees 24 minutes 12 seconds W a distance of 958.17 feet to a point, thence

turning N 22 degrees 06 minutes 53 seconds E a distance of 15.00 feet to a

point, thence turning N 67 degrees 10 minutes 21 seconds W a distance of 34.52

feet to a point, thence traveling along a curve to the right on an arc of

101.44 feet, with a radius of 1,387.94 on a cord bearing of N 64 degrees 21

minutes 58 seconds W a distance of 101.42 feet to an iron pin at the True Point

of Beginning.

From this Point of Beginning heading on a curve to the right, along Blackmon

Road right-of- way, on an arc of 412.14 feet with a radius of 1,387.94 feet on

a cord bearing of N 53 degrees 45 minutes 56 seconds W with a distance of

4l0.62 feet to a iron pin, thence traveling on a cord bearing of N 44 degrees

44 minutes 28 seconds E a distance of 130.00 feet to a point, thence traveling
