An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government

of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district

located east of the Garrett Road-Yarbrough Road intersection, bordered on the

east by Dozier Creek, from M-2 (Heavy Manufacturing) District to R-2 (Low

Density Residential) District.



THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:



That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Division of the

Department of Community and Economic Development be, and the same is hereby

amended by changing the following described property from M-2 (Heavy

Manufacturing) District to R-2 (Low Density Residential) District:

Beginning at the northwest comer of Land Lot 162, 9th District, and run thence

north 86 degrees 34 minutes 38 seconds east a distance of 1024.92 feet; thence

run south 77 degrees 22 minutes 13 seconds west a distance of 625.0 feet;

thence run south 40 degrees 38 minutes 47 seconds west a distance of 1224.11

feet to the centerline of Dozier Creek; thence run along the centerline of

Dozier Creek a distance of 2340 feet, more or less; thence run south 87 degrees

23 minutes 14 seconds west a distance of 650 feet, more or less; thence run

north 02 degrees 24 minutes 08 seconds west a distance of 208.60 feet; thence

run south 87 degrees 25 minutes 08 seconds west a distance of 1215.25 feet;

thence run south 33 degrees 40 minutes 00 seconds west a distance of 384.83

feet; thence run north 73 degrees 13 minutes 00 seconds west a distance of

421.33 feet; thence run along a radius to the right of 310.21 feet an arc

distance of 155. 00 feet; thence run south 87 degrees 25 minutes 09 seconds
