SUBJECT: FY03 Non-Operating Funds Budget

Recommendation: Approve the FY03 Non-Operating Funds Budget for the Columbus
Consolidated Government for the fiscal year July 1, 2002 through June 30, 2003.
Background: Legislation for local government reporting has dictated that
special revenue, capital projects and debt service funds are budgeted by
ordinance. This information is being presented concurrently with the FY03
Operating Budget.
Analysis: The proposed budgets will meet requirements of O.C.G.A., Title 26,
Chapter 81.
Financial Considerations: The Budget as proposed is balanced in all funds.
Legal Considerations: Pursuant to O.C.G.A., Title 36, Chapter 81, the
non-operating budget is submitted for City Council review and approval for the
fiscal year beginning July 1, 2002.
Recommendations/Actions: Recommend adoption of the FY03 Non Operating Funds
Budget for the Columbus Consolidated Government for the fiscal year July 1,
2002 through June 30, 2003.
