An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government
of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district
located at 4422, 4426, and 4430 1st Avenue, from R-3A (Medium Density
Residential) District to C-3 (General Commercial) District.
THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:
That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Division of the
Department of Community and Economic Development be, and the same is hereby
amended by changing the following described property from R-3A (Medium Density
Residential) District to C-3 (General Commercial) District:
All those lots, tracts, and parcels of land situate, lying and being in
Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, being known and designated as NORTH
HIGHLAND PARK SUBDIVISION, BLOCK 2, LOTS 6, 7, AND 8, as said lots are shown
upon a map or plat dated April 22, 1908, made by B.K. Scott, Civil Engineer,
and being recorded in Plat Book 1, Folio 454 of the records of the Clerk of the
Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia, to which reference is made for the
particular locations and dimensions of said lot.
The above-described property is being rezoned with the following condition:
All lighting shall be directed internally using deflector shields.
